Mission

Seattle Solar Car Team empowers high school students through real engineering, teamwork, and innovation. As a student-led organization, we design and build solar-powered vehicles that give students hands-on experience in problem solving, fabrication, project management, and renewable technology.

With the support of mentors and sponsors, we provide an authentic learning environment that prepares the next generation of engineers and sustainability leaders.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Engineered five student-built, championship-winning solar cars

  • Offered invaluable hands-on experience to high school students, shaping the next generation of innovators

  • Constructed our third car to college competition standards
